This 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe is #1417 of 1,963 40th Anniversary Edition models and is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Natural Grey leather. Power comes from a 3.6-liter M96 flat-six mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the car came factory-equipped with the X51 power package and a limited-slip differential. H&R lowering springs and a B&M short shift kit have been installed, and a recent service included fitment of an LN Engineering IMS bearing as well as a new rear main seal, clutch, serpentine belt, and tires on reconditioned wheels. This 996 is offered with records from the recent work, period books, a Carfax report, and a clear title.
All 40th Anniversary Edition 911s were finished in GT Silver Metallic and featured enlarged front cooling ducts, body-colored intake grilles, side skirts, and unique rear badging. This example sits lower than stock on a set of H&R springs. Polished Carrera wheels were recently refinished by Wheel Dynamics of South El Monte, California and wear fresh 18” Continental ExtremeContact tires. Close-up photos are provided in the gallery to show the condition of the lenses and trim as well as the automatically-extending rear spoiler. Two accidents are listed on the included Carfax report, the first of which resulted in moderate damage to the front right side and the second resulting in functional damage to the rear with no airbag deployment.
Heated sport seats are trimmed in Natural Grey leather with perforated inserts. Options include matching floor mats, a rear window wiper, a high-end Bose sound package, a 6-disc CD changer, and an electric sunroof. Wear is noted on the driver’s outer bolster.A numbered 40th Anniversary plaque is present on the center console, which also houses a B&M short shifter. The seller states that the air conditioning system works well. Just under 96k miles are shown on the odometer. The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six is linked to a 6-speed manual transaxle and features the X51 performance package, which improved cooling and increased original output to 345 horsepower. A limited-slip differential came standard on the 40th Anniversary Edition along with an additional radiator, reprogrammed DME control unit, and more. Service in July 2018 included installation of an upgraded LN Engineering IMS bearing as well as a new rear main seal, clutch, pressure plate, serpentine belt, and throwout bearing. The brake fluid was flushed and new oil and filters were installed. Additional lift photos are viewable below. Original manuals are included along with recent receipts, a tool kit, a spare tire, a jack, and two sets of keys.
