This 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is finished in Meridian Metallic over a Graphite Grey leather interior. Sold new in Maryland, the car remained in the Washington Metropolitan area until it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. Power is supplied by a 3.6-liter flat-six mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and factory options include heated and powered seats, 18” wheels, and xenon headlights. Maintenance performed earlier this month included installing an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit, as well as a new rear main seal, serpentine belt, throw-out bearing, and an oil change. Now showing 129k miles, this 996 is being offered at no reserve in Tennessee with a receipt from the recent service, a Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title.
Meridian Metallic paint shows some minor scrapes and chips as detailed in the gallery. An accident in 2011 involved impact to the right rear of the vehicle, and a separate incident in 2016 resulted in damage to the front left as reported on the Carfax. Further details of either incident are unknown, and the seller believes that the passenger-side of the vehicle has been refinished due to paint thickness readings.Options include xenon headlamps and a wind deflector. 18” light alloy wheels are equipped with colored crests and Bridgestone Potenza tires date-coded from 2015. The heated and powered Graphite Grey leather seats show some creasing and bolster wear commensurate with the mileage. A Pioneer stereo with a display screen was added, and some wear is noted on the shift knob. 129k miles are indicated on the odometer. The 3.6L flat-six sends power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and was factory-rated at 315 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Within the last 20 miles, an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit kit was installed, as well as a new rear main seal, serpentine belt, throw-out bearing. An oil and filter change was also performed and the clutch and flywheel were inspected. A receipt from the recent work performed at Knoxville Performance and Dyno Tuning Center is viewable in the gallery, along with additional undercarriage photos. A provided Carfax report lists three owners with history in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Damage reports from 2011 and 2016 indicate right rear and left front impact respectively.
