This 2001 Porsche Boxster S is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The car was owned in the New York City area before moving in 2004 to Florida, where it remained until the selling dealer’s acquisition earlier this year. Equipped with 18” Sport Design wheels and an aftermarket stereo, this Boxster currently shows 88k miles and recently received over $4,500 of maintenance. Work included installing an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit, as well as a new clutch, rear main seal, brake pads and rotors, tires, and more described below. This 986 is now being offered in Tennessee at no reserve with receipts from the recent work, a clean Carfax report, an Autocheck, and a clear Florida title.
18” two-piece wheels show some curb rash on the brushed aluminum lips. Less than 50 miles have been added since new brake pads, rear rotors, and Nankang tires were installed. The rear hood shocks and emblem were also replaced during the recent service.
Inside, the black leather driver’s seat shows some creasing and wear, while the passenger seat is thought to be a replacement with a less glossy finish. Both seats are equipped with red seat belts, and branded floor mats protect the carpets. A new 997 shifter and cables were installed, and the shift knob shows some wear. An aftermarket stereo has been installed, though the factory unit is included. Just over 88k miles are indicated on the digital odometer, about 50 of which have been added by the seller.

The 3.2L flat-six produced 250 horsepower when new. Within the last 50 miles, the seller has replaced the clutch, rear main seal, serpentine belt, and installed an LN Engineering IMS retrofit kit. The brake and clutch systems were bled, and an oil and filter change were performed. Receipts from the work performed at Knoxville Performance and Dyno Tuning Center are provided below.
